George Ivanovich Gurdjieff (13 January 1866/1872/1877? – 29 October 1949), also commonly referred to as Georges Ivanovich Gurdjieff and G. I. Gurdjieff, was a mystic, philosopher, spiritual teacher, and composer of Armenian and Greek descent, born in Alexandrapol (now Gyumri). Gurdjieff taught that most humans do not possess a unified mind-emotion-body consciousness, and thus live their lives in a state of hypnotic “waking sleep”, but that it is possible to transcend to a higher state of consciousness and achieve full human potential. Gurdjieff described a method attempting to do so, calling the discipline “The Work” (connoting “work on oneself”) or “the Method”. According to his principles and instructions, Gurdjieff’s method for awakening one’s consciousness unites the methods of the fakir, monk or yogi, and thus he referred to it as the “Fourth Way”.–Wikipedia
Gobind Singh (22 December 1666 – 7 October 1708), born Gobind Rai, was the tenth Sikh Guru, a spiritual master, warrior, poet and philosopher. When his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur, was beheaded for refusing to convert to Islam, Guru Gobind Singh was formally installed as the leader of the Sikhs at age nine, becoming the tenth Sikh Guru. His four sons died during his lifetime in Mughal-Sikh Wars – two in battle, two executed by the Mughal army.
Among his notable contributions to Sikhism are founding the Sikh warrior community called Khalsa in 1699 and introducing the Five Ks, the five articles of faith that Khalsa Sikhs wear at all times. Capricorn arises at about 15 degrees in the eastern horizon which makes lagna fairly strong and it’s also fully aspected by Saturn-the lord of lagna and partially by Venus, Mercury and Mars. There is a powerful stellium in the sign Scorpio in eleventh house and Mars being lord of the house joins in the stellium. Such concentration of planetary energies indicates a great dedication towards esoteric studies and since it’s in the house of communities it furthers the cause of scientific studies worldwide. Moreover since this stellium forms in the tenth house from Moon, which is the highest public visibility house, she is one of the greatest scientists ever and one with a Nobel prize dyad-a rare one indeed. Mars occupying its own sign in a kendra from Moon suggests Ruchaka Yoga which makes her a great personality. In horoscope of Einstein we see such a stellium in the tenth house from lagna which occurs in the watery Pisces dual sign. Here we find it in the fixed water sign which is great for esoteric, occult, healing and profound studies. Capricorn arises on the eastern horizon with a deeply exalted Mars which is accompanied by atmakaraka Jupiter. Atmakaraka rising in lagna or navamsa indicates royal births(though not always as sometimes it might just be individuals having bearings like royal personages.) This union of Jupiter and Mars is in itself a powerful combination and it is present in 9 out of 16 prime divisional charts in this nativity! As I indicated in case of Aurangzeb royal personages often indicate peculiarities in divisional charts. Also examine powerful cancellation of debility of Jupiter as it’s with a planet which is in deeply exalted in a Kendra house. Moreover, lagna lord Saturn which is retrograde(by virtue of which it becomes even more of a benefic) and also sign lord of Jupiter aspects it fully from Labha bhava. The longest-serving non-royal head of state in the 20th and 21st centuries, Castro polarized world opinion. His supporters view him as a champion of socialism and anti-imperialism whose revolutionary regime advanced economic and social justice while securing Cuba’s independence from American imperialism. Critics view him as a dictator whose administration oversaw human-rights abuses, the exodus of a large number of Cubans and the impoverishment of the country’s economy. Castro was decorated with various international awards and significantly influenced various individuals and groups across the world.

Stephen King is a well known name in the world of fiction. I’ve not read any of his works still I am a great fan of many movies based on them. Dolores Claiborne is my favorite film based on his works. Shawshank Redemption is one of the most popular films based on his works and Stanely Kubrick’s The Shining is a horror classic in which Jack Nicholson shines. The space here isn’t enough for detailed examination of horoscopes so let’s examine his chart briefly. Continue reading “Horoscope of Stephen King!”

Cancer Lagna rises with Moon and its north node in it. He was a very sensitive and popular person with an emotionally stable temperament which led to many romantic liaisons. Since Lagna is weak ( 27 degrees) and Rahu afflicts it he suffered from asthma in later years. Jupiter in the 6th house clearly indicates corpulence in later years. Exalted Saturn and Venus in its own house together aspect the lagna and Moon making his horoscope a fairly powerful one, no wonder he gained popular as well as critical acclaim.
