I read a smaller version of this story in Hindi in my childhood and it brought tears to my eyes. This beautiful tale of love by O. Henry which also tells about the tradition of Christmas presents is one of the best stories ever! Thanks for sharing this, Amaya!
Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you’re having a good weekend so far! I have some errands to run later on today. Day 4 of the Christmas Challenge asks for me to write or share a Christmas story. I decided to share a Christmas story by O. Henry. The story is called The Gift of the Magi. Reading this and ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas on Christmas Eve was another family tradition I grew up with. This classic magnifies the true meaning of Christmas…love and giving.
